Only clubs in good standing with Kiwanis International, who have paid all dues, completed all monthly reports and have current articles of incorporation as a 501c4 documentation on file with Kiwanis International are eligible to be recognized as Distinguished Clubs.
You will need 100 points to achieve District Distinguished Club status. Below is the list of the activities that will earn points. Check all that apply.
End the year with positive growth in club membership for 2025- 2026 (30 Points)
Beginning and End Year membership
Sponsored a new Kiwanis Club (30 Points)
Name of Club:
Sponsored a new SLP Program Club or adopted an orphaned club (20 Points)
Name of Club:
The Club registered and attended the Mid-Year Conference in Burbank or San Jose (10 Points)
The Club registered and attended the District Convention in Reno (10 Points)
The club sponsored a District SLP Conference or Convention (10 Points)

Bonus: If you have a Club Signature Project and would like to have it considered for points towards Club Distinguished status, submit in writing an executive summary with supporting documents (i.e. flyers, newspaper articles, photos, etc.) about the project to the Governor.
